Terms of Service

The short version

Use stackables for legitimate publishing. Don't use it for spam, illegal content, or to harm others. Your content is yours. We can remove content or accounts that violate these terms.

Account

  • You must provide a valid email address.
  • You are responsible for keeping your password secure.
  • You are responsible for all activity under your account.
  • One person or entity per account.

Acceptable use

Do not use stackables to:

  • Send spam or unsolicited bulk email
  • Publish illegal content, including content that infringes intellectual property rights
  • Harass, threaten, or abuse others
  • Impersonate another person or entity
  • Distribute malware or phishing content
  • Interfere with the service or other users
  • Scrape or harvest data without permission

Your content

  • You own your content. You grant us a license to host and serve it.
  • You are responsible for your content and for having the rights to publish it.
  • We do not review content before publication. We may remove content that violates these terms.
  • You can export and delete your content at any time.

API usage

  • API keys are for your use only. Do not share them.
  • Use the API responsibly. We may rate-limit excessive usage.
  • We may revoke API access for abuse.

Service availability

We aim for high availability but make no guarantees. The service may be interrupted for maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control. We are not liable for downtime or data loss.

Termination

  • You can delete your publications and stop using the service at any time.
  • We can suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
  • We can discontinue the service with 30 days notice. You will be able to export your data.

Liability

The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us (which is zero, since the service is free).

Changes

We may update these terms. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be announced on the site.
